To submit your demo on Hard Salsa Radio for review and for
airplay please follow the guidelines below:

1. Music must be Salsa.  Please no regaetton and no bachata.
Your music may contain light regaetton and some bachata breaks
but the majority of the music must be Salsa.  You may submit a
Salsaton song.  Salsa Romantica and Timba is accepted.

2. We accept only MP3 at least 128Kbps or higher.  MP3 must be
DRM code free.  Our broadcast system can not play MP3's that are
DRM coded.

3. MP3 must be tagged properly with The Artist Name and The Title
of The Song.
Example: Hector Lavoe - El Cantante.mp3
Songs that are Incorrectly tagged can result in the failure of
listeners seeing the name of the artist and song that is playing on
the listener's player.

4. Offensive language in your lyrics is strictly prohibited.  Yes, we
are an internet radio station that is not sanctioned but we have
listeners that may get offended with inappropriate language.

5. If You Recorded a cover song make sure you have the licensing
rights from the publisher.  We will play the song on the air but if we
receive a call from publishers stating the artist does not have
licensing rights to the song we will pull the song out from the
playlist.  Artist will be informed the song was pulled from the playlist.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. HOW OFTEN WILL MY SONG BE ROTATED ON THE PLAYLIST?
You're song will be rotated every 4 to 5 hours.

2. HOW LONG WILL MY SONG REMAIN ON THE PLAYLIST?
We receive reports on how many listeners were listening to a
particular song when it aired and how many listeners disconnected.
For example, lets say for the month of January 5,000 listeners
listened to your song and 2,500 disconnected that is a 50% drop
rate. If the drop out rate was during peak time when we have a high
count of listeners we will air the song off peak time when there are
less listeners mainly about 1am to 8am EST.  Please understand if
your song has a high dropout rate, it can hurt other artist that is
airing on Hard Salsa Radio.  If you song has a 60% drop out rate,
the song will be pulled out permanently from our playlist.

3. HOW DOES MY SONG THAT HAS A HIGH DROP OUT RATE
HURT OTHER ARTISTS?
If a song had a 50% dropout rate, that mean 50% of listeners did not
get to hear the proceeding songs on the playlist because they
disconnected. That is not fair for the artist that has a song that was
aired right after a song that had a high drop out rate because they
now have fewer listeners listening to their song.  We are certain you
feel the same way and do not want a song played before yours that
has a high dropout rate because you will have less listeners.

4.
