Salsa Dura Fans were itching for a new classic Salsa Dura CD only to
realize Latin Soul Records produced for the first time a compilation
album that will not be available on a physical CD but only through
electronic download.
The album “Salsa Dura Classica Y Rara Vol 1” although not re-
mastered by the great DigiTech Studios, many fans will notice from
previous albums they have purchased by the Bronx Label operated by
Andres Padua will have a slightly tingy sound. Although it may not be
noticeable to the average ear and fans may not careless of audio
quality but just to own rare tracks, however serious Salsa Dura fans
and collectors may object to the audio quality.
Nevertheless, this album includes several rare artist including Pepe Y
Su Banda, Adolfo Echevarria, Creacion 75, Orquesta La Moderna,
Jose Chepito Areas and many others.
