Salsa, Mambo, Boogaloo, Latin Soul, Latin Jazz,
Guaguanco, Descargas, Cha Cha Cha, Son
Montuno, Mozambique and many other swinging
Salsa genres. In addition to Speedy’s incredible
rare classic Latin Jazz and Salsa playlist, he airs
new promotional songs before they are released
on CD and available to the public.

including Salsa, Latin Jazz, Boogaloo, Charanga, Mozambique, Bomba, Plena, Latin
Soul and many classics. He respects the legends and continues to air on the radio
the great Hector Lavoe, Celia Cruz, Tito Puente, Joe Cuba and so forth. However, DJ
Speedy has a pain in his heart. A pain he carried for quite some time. Many Salsa
and Latin Jazz artists back in the good o’ days of the 1960’s and 1970’s did not
receive much airplay as they should have. Most of these artists were equally as good
as our great Latin Legends. Sadly, even commercial radio today do not air our
founding fathers of Salsa and Latin Jazz who were the very ones that began the era
of Salsa. You may hear a few of their common hits tunes however commercial radio
is lacking on one important factor…THERE ARE OTHER TUNES THAT OUR LATIN
LEGENDS RECORDED.
