Famous for his sweet sexy Latin Soul tune “Forget it” Joe
Rivera is the only deceased member of La Orquesta Dee Jay.
Forget about it, this man’s vocal is as sexy as Jimmy
Sabater's velvet vocals. In fact, I thought Jimmy Sabater
sang "Forget it." Jose Rivera was also a trombonist for the
band. May Joe rest in peace.

This photo was taken at The Exit Art
Exhibit November 2006 in Manhattan. In
one of the rooms, there were four walls
with an embellish display of classic Latin
album covers. It was the most beautiful
art I have ever seen. I sure wish I owned
all those albums. Charlie Rosario is on
the left who was the original designer for
the Forget It album in 1971. Orquesta Dee
Jay Forget it LP is scheduled to be
reissue on Latin Soul Records early 2007.
